Universal Media Gateway
Telsol SARVAM UMG is a Universal Connectivity Media Gateway offering connectivity to VOIP, GSM/3G/4G, T1/E1 PRI, and POTS networks on a single platform. It allows users to make and receive calls transparently on all networks. It supports flexible and intelligent Least Cost Routing (LCR), leading to significant cost savings and round-the-clock connectivity. It allows enterprises to dynamically select one of the networks on a per-call basis for benefits of improved reach, reduced cost and enhanced quality of service. Telsol SARVAM UMG links an organization’s existing infrastructure to the new age communication networks ensuring right connectivity and least cost for each and every call. The gateway is an ideal solution for workplaces such as call centers, ISP, ITSP, wholesale terminators and organizations experiencing high call traffic on a per day basis.
Telsol SARVAM UMG - the High Density Universal Media Gateway offers integrated interfaces for multiple network connectivity on a single platform. It can be used with PBX of any brand or even in standalone mode. The Gateway works as an adjunct to existing telephony infrastructure, with no need to replace any existing equipment. This not only saves additional investment on acquiring new equipment, but also saves time and efforts required for reinstallation of the system and retraining users. When connected with any existing PBX, the Universal Media Gateway remains completely transparent to all users and allows them to make and receive calls, and use the same PBX features.
Universal routing combined with least cost routing and telephony costs can be significantly reduced by selecting the most economical network for call routing based on number, time, network, port and combinations of each. The universal slot architecture allows selection and configuration of interface options to match the exact call traffic requirements of an organization.
