COSEC Device based Face Recognition

Telsol COSEC Device based (COGNIFACE) Face Recognition is a unique solution with IP Camera and COSEC door controller to offer accurate user identification even in challenging working conditions for time-attendance and access control applications. It works in two modes namely standalone and server mode.


COSEC Device based Face Recognition
i. Standalone Mode:

In a standalone mode, COSEC COGNIFACE works with embedded hi-speed microcontroller (COSEC COGNIFACE EBS200) which can store 50,000 users’ data with 30 templates per user. It detects and recognizes the user in <3 seconds having 1,00,000 templates without compromising on speed. This mode is used for time-attendance application at places such as construction sites and manufacturing units were number of users are large and need very fast user identification with limited network connectivity.

ii. Server Mode:

In a server mode, COSEC FR identifies user directly from the identification server without requirement of COSEC COGNIFACE EBS200. Using deep learning technology, it identifies up to 1 Million users in <3 sec. This mode is specially designed to cater time-attendance and access control requirements of organizations with large number of users such as corporate, government, healthcare, manufacturing units where they cannot afford on delay in user identification.

Matrix Cosec Mode Face Recognition

COSEC MODE an android application for tablet based Face Recognition for one-to-many (1:N) and one-to-one (1:1) authentication at corporate offices, education institutes, construction sites, etc. It offers mobility of attendance marking with minimal infrastructure and a biometric device cost. Again, COSEC MODE works in two different modes namely standalone and server mode.

Hardware Used:
No Telsol door controllers are required for attendance application. Works on tablet. COEC ARC DC200x for access control application.

i. Standalone Mode:

COSEC MODE can store up to 50,000 user’s face templates locally in the tablet. It identifies users in <1 second with 1:N matching. This is used in education institutes, construction sites, logistics industry, mobile sites where server connectivity is limited.

ii. Server Mode:

COSEC MODE in server mode offers very fast user identification for up to 50,000 users directly from server database in less than 2 secs per user. This is used in corporate offices, retail outlets, etc where connectivity is not an issue.

Matrix Cosec Apta Solution

Telsol COSEC APTA is a mobile based employee portal that provides a platform for users to monitor and manage all their time-attendance, leave and access control options. It is used for one-to-one (1:1) authentication in corporate offices. To keep track of the user’s movement outside/inside the premises, COSEC APTA sends location details to the server using GPS by taking user’s image from the present location. The communication between the mobile and server is encrypted with the provision to use customer owned certificates. It uses 24-bit encryption, ensuring the high security.
