What it does and why it's useful
A 2 MP PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera with a Full HD (1080p) picture, giving clear, smooth video for general monitoring. It has a powerful 25x optical zoom lens that can zoom in on a face or licence plate far across a lot, and a heavy-duty, weatherproof housing.
It can turn, tilt and zoom on command or follow a pre-set patrol, so one camera can watch a whole yard, parking lot or campus. Built-in infrared lets it see in complete darkness up to 150 m away, and wide dynamic range (140 dB) keeps faces visible against bright windows and headlights.
A memory-card slot (up to 256 GB) keeps recording on the camera even if the network goes down. It works with our recorders and phone app, so you can watch live or play back footage from anywhere.
